Hi gags, a very good morning to all of you. I am pondering over the internet to get good banners to display in my website. Whenever I search, am happy to see a number of articulate results popping up. By the way, mt only intention is to let the passers by know about the items being sold out in my retail store. The banner should be exactly 10'x8' to fit in correctly in place. I have started a private limited company dealing with wires & cables. My electrical retail store contains switches, wiring plug, sockets, PCB's, the new wraparound model lamps, fancy lamps and lights etc. I feel it would be good to display all these items in a poster and rest it on cheapbannerstands. Firstly, I like to extend my hearty wishes to my dearest friend for his promotion from the position of a tech leader to a project manager. Gags, I do need your valuable suggestion on his idea. With more than 10 years of experience in the software industry, he is about to take up a training on project management so as to handle people and his clients in a better way. He has a sound knowledge in Oracle and also he has good interpersonal skills and is capable of handling any kind of situations with ease. But, now he feels a bit afraid of handling his project on a whole. Heard taking Primavera Training is really helpful for engineers, project managers and for those working for government industries. They provide all the courses delivered by Emerald Associates. Earning a certification at this level helps him a lot it seems. Life @ work

Hi friends, work goes on cool nowadays as we were asked to minimize the number of change requests. In a candid manner, I would like to say that there is not much of work for us to do. It seems better but technically we are moving downwards. I say this because when there is a development activity, we learn a lot ourselves. As far as I am concerned, I would implement those concepts which I know, will take the help of my seniors, surf the web and it will be very challenging to code. I myself will feel as if I have achieved something when I successfully implement a new concept. For me, everyday is a lesson at work.

On the other side, it is just a mere time pass at work. We used to have a cheap city breaks for about 20 min for coffee and our lunch goes for a maximum of 70 min. But nowadays, we sit in cafeteria for long hours and thereby chit chat the day to day happenings in & around. It will be full of fun and looti. Added advantage is that we can go to office anytime and can come out as we wish. Having studied in a very strict college, workplace seems to be a heaven for me. Life is quite enjoyable @ work.

Wearing spectacles has become outdated and many have changed themselves to contact lenses. I won’t say lenses are not advised to wear but still they might cause problems to the retina. Gags, with IPL season 3 just round the corner, my expectations and enthusiasm are on high spirits and my love towards sports has been increasing day by day. Right from my childhood, I always have a passion towards sports irrespective of what the game is all about. Whether it be basketball or hockey or cricket, If I am in front of my television or pc, I just watch them completely from the toss till the final award presentation ceremony. When I was in school, I used to play cricket with my friends by betting every match. Initially, I used to lose matches and then gradually learned to play formal shots which made me the captain of my college team. And yes I represented my college team and have bagged many prizes, medals, cups and cash too. I always do sport betting and will always look forward to win the match (obviously, every captain does it).
Now, in IPL3, I was just moved off by the way Mathew Hayden plays. Just hit 93 off 39 balls. It was really amazing. Also I have a strong liking towards volley ball but unfortunately being short, I couldn’t make it happen. I also play football and have been in my college team. Those days made me fit. In the recent past, I happened to play flash games though poptropica. I've been asked by several people over the last few months about keyboard focus for Flash games running in the browser. Usually, the person asking is quite sure what is going on. All they know is that the game doesn't work when the browser first loads it, at least until they click on the game. Then it works.

What is happening here is simply a matter of keyboard focus. When a game, or any Flash movie, loads in a browser the focus of the keyboard is still on the browser. The "focus" simply refers to where the key presses trigger events. So if the browser has keyboard focus, then the browser gets key presses for filling in form fields, entering URLs or search box contents, or executing keyboard shortcuts.

If the user presses the up arrow, for instance, the browser gets that key press and probably tries to scroll up on the page. The Flash movie on the page never even hears about the up arrow being pressed.
To switch the keyboard focus to the Flash movie, the user simply needs to click on the Flash movie. This is the same for anything in a modern OS. If the user clicks on a window, then the keyboard focus switches to that. If they click on a word processing window, then the keyboard focus switches to that, etc.

Now, you can also perform some embed/object tag and JavaScript mojo to set the keyboard focus. But that is going overboard. You can simply make sure that the user clicks on your game by including a splash screen and a "start game" or "play" or "begin" button. That's good design anyway, as you don't want most games to start the minute the page loads.
