Child Labor

Although I am sure many older teens cringe at the label, the laws which govern the employment of anybody under the age of eighteen fall into the category of "child labor law". These laws are meant to shield minors from exposure to dangerous occupations, while recognizing that as kids and teens get older they are capable of working longer hours or in more challenging employment.

Child labor laws vary between jurisdictions, often quite significantly. They may have different rules as to minimum ages for employment, hours that can be worked, and required permits. The following article presents an overview of typical child labor law rules. For more specific information, please check with the government office in your jurisdiction which regulates child labor. Often, they will have websites, brochures, or posters which summarize the governing rules and restrictions.

In many jurisdictions, before a minor can obtain employment the minor must produce a "work permit", usually issued by the school the minor attends. Generally speaking, the purpose of this requirement is to ensure that employment doesn't interfere with school performance, and that kids who are having trouble in school aren't being overtaxed by their employment. A few jurisdictions require a physical examination before a work permit can be issued. Some jurisdictions have never required work permits. Other jurisdictions, finding that schools don't actually exercise any real oversight or fear that troubled students will drop out if denied the opportunity for employment, have dropped the requirement of work permits.

Bed Bugs

Have you ever tried up killing bed bugs? Ah! My new place makes me twitched every night. Am getting irritated by the bed bugs every now and then. Initially I occupied my room and everything went cool. But due to some pending wood works, I slept in the guest room which is fully dumped and I was asked to clean up my bed and rest over there. I was literally tortured by the homemade bed bug traps. Never had I thought of such an attack. When I was thinking on how to get rid of them, the first I did is that I cleaned my mattress. Generally, they come out before dawn. They die with high heat of extreme cold. If you know they invaded your cloth you should either warm your clothing and if they cant be boiled, put your cloths in the freezer. And just so you know. Bedbugs are not attracted by dirt but by blood. That could help you when your friends are having disgusted looks. They suck your blood to the core. Their impact is that When Bed bugs feed, they inject the skin with their saliva (this keeps the blood from clotting) and an anesthetic (this keeps the host from feeling the bite and moving). Bed bugs do not spread disease, but their bites can become red, itchy welts.

Attacked by Ants

Hope the day starts fine for you but not for me (ha haa). I dint sleep the whole night as I was terrifically attacked by a group of ants and not mosquitoes (pity me!). I thought of writing it up over here in my blog. I am a person who will never sleep even if there is a small disturbance. Sometimes I even feel the whirling sound of fan is noisy. Yesterday, there was a function at home and all my relatives visited during which some children were playing and were eating the sweets on my bed. They would have scattered it and hence the ants surrounded the sweet bits I guess. Do any one of you know how to get rid of ants? If so, please do suggest me the best way to get rid of ants. I have heard many people at work saying that they lost their sleep due to mosquitoes but I wonder what would happen if I go and tell them ants made me off? Everyone would think that this guy had encountered something wrong last night, he might have drunk and is just blabbering, laugh at me and so on. For all those funny minds, I would show this blog post as a proof. Even then, everyone would make fun of me. Mm expecting a good day at work. Good day to you too!!!
