Notwithstanding the slowdown, MphasiS managed to create a record in the seven month period ending October 31, 2008, the company recorded highest ever EPS growth. Incidentally, MphasiS changed the quarter and financial year to November-October with effect from November 1, 2008, to align to the financial year of HP consequent to the merger of EDS with HP. MphasiS made steady progress toward verticalizing its business. During H1 09 MphasiS saw revenue growth of 39.3% over the corresponding period in FY 08. Profit during this period grew by 87.1% to Rs 220.1 crore compared to Rs 117.6 crore during the corresponding period previous fiscal. One of the key highlights was that billing rates remained steady.
